The Pokrovsky residential complex
Living environment
The proposed complex is intended to connect the existing development of the Bummash residential quarter from the Soviet period with the newly constructed buildings of the Pokrovsky residential complex. To achieve this goal, it was decided to make the complex multi‑storey, with the buildings being reduced in height from 22 to 6 storeys. With this arrangement of buildings, this compositional technique made it possible to seamlessly integrate the elements of the existing development with the 25‑storey buildings under construction in the Pokrovsky residential complex, and also helped to shape the main facade of the complex, which faces 10 Let Oktyabrya Avenue.

The quarter has been designed to create the most open space for courtyards, facing the inner promenade park. The park, being the center of the developed building composition, unites all the houses into a single, cohesive residential complex. It forms a kind of valley between the buildings. From the main promenade, pedestrian streets run between the courtyard blocks, picturesquely intertwining in the park. The pedestrian paths intersect, forming at their intersections areas with various functional purposes, intended for different age groups and all residents of the quarter without exception. Children’s, sports, and recreational areas are interconnected and form a single recreational core.

Для обеспечения нормативной инсоляции на территории комплекса, а также в прилегающей к нему застройке проектом, помимо переменной высотности и взаимном расположение корпусов,  выполнен акцент на глубине и ширине зданий.
